This website provides access to the GP IT templates in support of the NHS England Obesity
Medication Pathway relating to the prescription of medicines for overweight and obesity in
primary care settings
Currently, these templates support alignment with the priority cohort eligible for
tirzepatide (Mounjaro®) for managing obesity in primary care, as outlined in the
NHS England interim commissioning guidance.
The resources are available to you in TPP SystmOne via an open access organisation group.
This is to ensure that you receive all updates and that the templates remain current.
You will need local administrator access rights to complete the below steps.
To add the templates to your clinical system
In TPP SystmOne navigate to Setup -> Users and Policy -> Organisation Groups
Ensure that Only show groups this organisation has joined is unticked.
Using the folder hierarchy, locate and select the organisation group named ML CSU DQ - National Resources.
This group will be found within the Midlands and Lancashire CSU folder.
Click Join Group from the options above the folder hierarchy.
Log out and back in to TPP SystmOne to refresh the system.
You will now have access to national resources published by Midlands and Lancashire CSU.
To access the Obesity Medication Pathway templates
From the patient record search for tirzepatide from the search features bar in the bottom left of the patient record
Alternatively, you may wish to add the template to your clinical tree.
